Description

Heading south along the highway from the Kane Gulch Ranger Station for another mile, we then turn left (S14P05), and head east along a good dirt road (County Road 253) in the direction of Owl Creek. This 5.5 mile walk across Cedar Mesa is pleasant enough, if unexciting. Eventually, we reach the Owl Creek trailhead (S14P10).
